Note: The following guides only cover alterations that shorten garments. We recommend matching your garment or visiting the tailor shop for all other requests.

Hemming Pants

Step 1:

Put on your pants and shoes you'll wear with them.

Step 2:

Fold the bottom of ONE pant leg up to your desired length and secure with a pin.

Stand up straight, check the length in the mirror, and adjust as necessary

Hemming Dress

Put on your dress and shoes you'll wear with them.

Step 2:

Flip up the bottom of your dress to your ideal length and secure a section with pins.

Shortening Straps

Pinch one strap by the amount you want to shorten it by.

Step 2:

Secure the strap in place with a safety pin through both layers. You only need to pin one strap.
